What Does this blood Test Result Mean?

hi, my five years boy had a fever, i went to the laboratory for malaria, haemaglobin, WBC, and widal test the result shows malaria negativ HB 13.5, WBC 7.1 widal typhi O1/20 typhi H 1/20 I have given amoxiclave 5mils twice a day for seven days ,however the fever is still there.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
A negative malaria test and Widal test showing antigen O to be 1/20 and antigen H to be 1/20 rules out both the infections - malaria and typhoid.
If the Widal test is done after starting antibiotic then the test comes out to be negative only.
If the fever does not subside after completion of antibiotic course, then you need to consult your primary healthcare provider for clinical assessment and look for other cause of fever.
